Fat Dave
Pete at Rat Race Cycles is a Fetchie ("Pierre" on here, I think) - fantastic bloke, and definitely worth a shout if you're in or around London. Does custom builds etc... and if you're a bit busy and your bike needs maintenance, he'll actually cycle out to your home/office to do it!

another hard 50 miles today, ouch!! I thinking of racing again. Tri sporters out there, do tri clubs affiliate with brit athletics. I'm thinking of joining the local tri club and race on the bike and run and mix with a few duo's. |

kr2 decent bike with a mix n match of gear, but it will give you lots of pleasure. RT It's Carbuncle's Law, the level of desire is inversely proportional to envy and regret (sqrd) over time. |

Blott a groupset is all the the gears and brakes on the bike, including the chainset and block and chain. They are often sold as a set. The two main contenders being Shimano and Campagnolo. We could argue waht is best, I would say campag (Italian). Good race bikes will have this kit on. This link will show you what you get and various prices. centaur group is quite high up the list, thus a good bargin. ribblecycles.co.uk |

I struggle with Campy groupsets to understand what's what in the hierarchy, as it were - which I find totally straightforward with Shimano.
