Has anyone done this or is thinking about doing this? I thought I'd make a thread for anyone thinking of doing it or that has done it. I will post a review when / if I finish. It's a 60 day body transformation program. Bodyweight interval training 6 days a week for 9 weeks. 3 minute trailer: I'm half way through week 4 and have just looked at what's coming next. It looks really hard. Results are good so far - I have dropped from 82KG down to 78KG and seen a big jump in fitness. The program is heavy on the legs so I'm too burnt out to run as well but will be interested to see if my 5k time improves after this. |

Oh, probably worth mentioning that when I was running my fastest around 2006, I weighed in at 63KG with 11% bodyfat. Quite depressing knowing about 20KG of my mass is blubber.

I did look at this but it's not cheap...I think Amazon has it for about £120, so that's been the factor stopping me so far. Would you say it's worth it?

haha JohnnyO & Eumaius that made me laugh. Cuddy, it might not be worth it for the average runner who is already active and get's great value from club races / runs but I suppose for an alternative to gym membership or classes it works out quite fair value I would say. It's packaged quite well - about 12 different variations of workouts - each averaging 45 minutes. A calendar and nutrition guide. I'm always out for a bargain, seeming as I get a work gym for free and a can run for free, I would say a fair price would be £70 - 80 or what ever TV series boxsets go for these days. You can get cheaper on Ebay. I'm not following the nutrition guide - I think getting food right is harder than working out. I just try to reduce my carbs and have some protein with every meal. I'm not on a low carb diet but some of my meals before starting out were 100% carbs - like 4 slices of toast for breakfast!!! Half the portion of rice or potatoes with a meal I used to have and add more veg etc. So far I am enjoying it. I tried it last summer in my back garden but got knee pain so stopped at week 3. This time myself and a colleague watch it on a laptop in a studio at the gym. We use the thin matts there for the jumps. It's definitely easier to get the most out of the workout if you have someone to workout with. |

Crossfit looks awesome too. I'd like to do it if I had space / equipment. A glaring omission in my work gym is the lack of a chin up bar and boxes -low ceiling was the reason given. |
