How hot are they on drafting? I'm quite slow on the bike and it can easily take me a while to crawl past someone if I'm only going marginally faster than them. I was really worried in my first triathlon a couple of weeks ago so made sure I was never riding directly behind anyone else unless they were quite a distance away, but this did put me quite a way off the racing line.

Just scanned the British Triathlon rules, you can be DQ'd for nudity.

Forget drafting, nude cycling would be draughty

Draughty and quite uncomfortable, says the woman who spent time in T1 putting a pair of better padded cycling shorts on on top of her trisuit

Does anyone know why drafting is not allowed? You're allowed to run on the shoulder of a competitor in a running race so it can't be about gaining an advantage. Is it to do with safety ie to avoid a pile up?

At Dorney this year I seem to recall that drafting was allowed for some of the options.

They are starting to intro drafting on fully closed road events
Open road evens are individual TTs
