My mum's GH was a 50s version, probably from when she married Dad in 1960. I was fascinated by the photographs of how to do things like skin a rabbit. I do have a more modern one - I think I gave it to Mum and then retrieved it when she had to move into a home.
Delia flapjacks verdict: good flavour but still a bit fally-aparty. Suspect I should have cooked them at a slightly higher temp (she says 150 conventional or 130 fan).
The quest continues.

I also have a GH. In fact, I have two. I have New Cooking (that was Mum's and I think from when she got married in 1966) and Freezer Book that's probably from the 70s.
