I know that some industrial landscapes can be actually quite artful - I struggle to find any redeeming features here (well, apart from the provision of jobs to the local area - but we're not judging the benefit are we, just the appearance)

Dvorak Mar 2018 1:45pm, 5 Mar 2018 15,615 posts	Quote Pin Dvorak I was saving Cumbernauld until I had a few suitable pictures, but since Duchess mentioned it ... here is the Google view of what is literally the heart of Cumbernauld town centre. goo.gl The bridge is recentish, and I quite liked it (not least because spoons is just the other side), but Google pics from the middle of a car park indicate is in now wrapped in a large glass (needless to say, hideous) box. One thing Cumbernauld does not lack is parking. For visitors. For workers, there is not enough. There is a good bus service, but Cumbernauld "bus station" (basically the windy undercroft on both sides of the dual carriageway pictured) is in a special category of dismal.
