I quite liked him - years ago.
He's an amazing player, but his (perceived, but likely actual) arrogance makes him almost unwatchable for me. And his ritualistic ball-bouncing doesn't help.

If Nadal and Djokovic both make the final I probably won't watch as I can't bear their pre-serve rituals! It would be good for the game to have a new Men's champion imo.

Really shattered after I got home yesterday. Very enjoyable day at the tennis.
Had lunch, got a souvenir towel for my son then sat on court 12 all afternoon. Men's doubles was a Colombia v USA match and they were represented all around us.
Mark Woodforde was in the mixed doubles and was very entertaining and seemed to laugh the whole match and interact with the crowd. Marion Bartoli was in the other pair and has put a little weight on. Yet, she just chased everything with a 'Ah non, non' when it was a struggle to react! Todd Woodbridge was on the adjacent court 2, so we didn't quite get the Woodies back together!
Skupski/Krawczyk v Farah/Ostapenko was the highlight. A few early errors from our lad but he made amends with some terrific passes down the line. Farah and Ostapenko had already played three-set doubles matches that day so may have been a bit tired. Ostapenko still came over a bit moody when a point went against her. Her double double fault in the first set tie-break seemed to get to her and the second set was a formality.
We could also see the centre and number one scoreboards and you could hear the shout go up when Norrie won. Great win for him but, as discussed before, a pity that he won't gain any ranking points for his efforts. Hopefully, the prize money will suffice.

Not Kyrgios please if his court summons turns out to be true. And he's a relentless chunterer!

I think he’s a really poor sportsman. He’s deliberately trying to put people off and is so arrogant.

Virtually all tennis players do that though. There are so many ways to do so.
Not going to lie and say he isn’t a (insert any derogatory and offensive name of your liking here) but he’s little different and at least doesn’t hide it. And he’s an unbelievable talent.
It’s tennis’ own choosing that they don’t stamp down on the various behaviour.

The court summons is the reason I've been disappointed to see his continued progress.
Just caught the end of the Nadal match - did the cameras really need to zoom into his half naked body at the end?

Felt sorry for Taylor, he played well but just came up short at the crunch moments.
Halep is looking very good on the women's side.

Halep for the Women’s title. Not sure about the mens. I have a feeling it will be Djokovic to beat Nadal in the final, but wouldn’t a Kyrgios/Norrie match be great?
