I remember Venus’s first match with the white beads in her hair!

Court 1 tomorrow. Liam Brody, Iva Swiatek, and Kyrgios/Tsitsipas. Should be a good afternoon!

Cracking line up. Wonder which Kyrgios will show up? Looks like a day on iPlayer for me, and a day of suffering for the housemate

Enjoying Gauff vs. Anisimova. Two big strong young women owning every inch of the court.

Disappointed for Liam Broady but the other guy was such a strong server. Nice atmosphere cheering for a Brit though.
Slightly underwhelmed by Swiatek/Cornet so currently on the Hill with food. Along with many others it seems

Brilliant to be in the stands to watch Kyrgios/Tsitsipas. It was quite tricky to follow what all the drama was about but the atmosphere was brilliant, though booing was unnecessary.
Had a really brilliant day out and so pleased to have watched a few games under a roof.

There’s just something so lovely about Wimbledon. The pristine grounds, the organisation, the friendly staff, (people even helping with queues for Pimms!). Even when it was busy we could still get around and get what we needed.

I wonder how much practice he does of that underarm serve between his legs ? I missed all the shenanigans in the first 2 sets, just saw it from half way thru set 3. Some brilliant tennis from both players.

You’ve got to be pretty confident you can get it in to do that. It was so quick we didn’t really see what happened. In fact he was mostly taking only a few seconds between shots, none of this picking four balls and discarding two, and many cases he was serving before the ball boys/girls were back to stations. I noticed by the end that T was making sure he wasn’t rushed into receiving.
