Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Disappointed for Murray and Raducanu, but still a fair bit of British interest. I think some others deserve the spotlight, Cam Norrie being on an outside court for round 1 was a bit unfair I thought.

Will be watching closely today to get an idea of who I might see on court 1 on Saturday.

Would be happy without a fourth Kate night match in a row so we can actually have a proper highlights programme though!

I'm enjoying the tennis also. I'd like a proper highlights programme as well!

Yay, tennis thread :)

I've had this week off work, so have been able to enjoy a few matches. Hoping to see Norrie have a decent run, but can't see anyone beating Djokovic with Medvedev barred, Berrettini ill, and Nadal with his foot issues.

Disappointed to hear the commentators defending Boris Becker earlier in the tournament and at Queens. He may be a former champion, but he's a criminal.

They'd defend Boris no doubt too. ;-)

Nice to see some Brits doing well, the mindset has improved over the last 5 years.

[As a Schwartzman fan, I was a little disappointed to see one Brit doing well yesterday... but then Diego usually disappoints on grass!]

Come on the Brits! It’s nice to see some still in. Haven’t watched any today but hoping to catch up later.

Really pleased for Heather Watson. She’s been close for so many years it’s nice to see her getting further than ever before. She’s in the doubles too. I hope Katie Boulter can make it too.

Exhibition stuff from Cam Norrie today, felt a bit bad for Johnson as he never really got going. Potential semi-final against Djokovic or Alcaraz if he plays to his potential.

Now enjoying Venus Williams and Jamie Murray in the mixed doubles - lovely to see Venus back at Wimbledon, I remember watching her first match all those years ago.

JK, he probably can't see over the grass ;-)

Norrie was excellent today, as was Watson
