Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Any Fetchie (rock) climbers out there?

Nice.

We took the kids to Avertical World in Dundee a couple of weeks ago. We had a brilliant time. First time I've come across self-belay machines :-O

Another decent couple of hours at Keswick Wall :)

18 climbs and tried a new-to me 7a+ on the auto-belay. Ran out of arms for the last move, but pleased with the progression so far :)

A couple of hours at Keswick again - this time just doing some strength endurance work by climbing and down-climbing mostly 6a to 6b.

Fabulous surprise when we were leaving when we bumped into nsc and Dave :)

My fingertips hurt :-O

Pleased to have managed two decent sessions on consecutive days. I may not be able to lever myself out of bed tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are ice climbing at IceFactor in Kinlochleven. This is a belated birthday treat for QP.

How are the arms V?

We had a great time ice climbing. QP was brilliant as ever. We did their aerial assault course too and he zoomed round. I freaked out on the leap of faith trapeze thing. That thing seemed miles away. Loved everything else. Back today for climbing and bouldering.
