Super climb at Kendal with V'rap today
6c+ and a couple of 6c and a 6b+ lead for the first time.
Pleased with that, and the fact that my 'tweaked' finger pulley is almost healed

Sounds great! I've just had a mooch about their website. Looks fantastic. The wall in Inverness is pretty basic in comparison but they change the boulder problems regularly which helps keep us interested. There are plans afoot for a new climbing centre here. In the meantime Lake District summer holiday is looking more and more likely.
I can't imagine ever getting anywhere near anything starting with a 6 but that is because we don't climb regularly enough, I don't quite trust QP to belay me safely AND my head conspires against me constantly.

I'd like that Velociraptor It would be good to meet you both in real life. I best get to our wall more often if I hope to make the most of a nice new wall.

Whereas although I can remember how to *do* climbing, in theory, my climbing muscles have all rotted away. I'm firmly back in the 5 zone for now.

Cracking session at Kendal
Warmed up on 5+ and 6's then stuck to 6a and above
lead 2x6b+ (18m and 12m)which was pleasing a couple of 18m 6b and 6a+s other than that
The slightly overhanging Yurple 6c (TR- 12m) looked unappealing but was superb.
Pretty decent session!

Pleased with a series of 3 back-to-back 6c+ (top-roped) on the longer walls though

We have finally got back to more regular bouldering sessions. The main walls are crazy busy over winter, which QP can't cope with, but if we get our timing right the boulder area is not bad.
QP continues to amaze me.

At the right time, both of the walls we go to can be pretty quiet HP.
Hopefully we'll get a chance to 'play' at some point with you and QP
