Before Your Eyes came up on Steam cheap list £3.59 so got it thinking I'd try it but then put it on pile for later. 2 hours on, and I had to force myself to close it! The control mechanism is blinking! Or shutting your eyes to hear voices behind doors. It makes it very involving! No idea what's going on but that's fun too!  G

Just played through What Remains of Edith Finch, and I am now a total mess.

Added that to my wishlist on Steam. It's only £16.99 but it might come down further, as it's an older game. Thanks JK for recommendation. I like immersive story sort of games so seems up my street. G

It's free on PS+ Extra, so don't pay too much. I completed it in around 3 hours, just got a couple of trophies to grab.
It was not what I was expecting, with some really funny moments but ultimately incredibly poignant. Glad I downloaded.

Perfect Organism
Oh yeah, Edith Finch was great. A real emotional story!
I’m just embarking on my first adventure into Hyrule in Breath of the Wild! Not the hotness of Tears of the Kingdom, but thought I’d play BOTW first.

Just cleaned up the Edith Finch trophies, hardest one was finding a rabbit to photograph.
Then replayed Lewis' story again and found some more grit in my eye...
Back to Slay the Spire for me.

It’s lighthearted fun that gives you the Hogwarts experience. There are loads of collectibles and side quests that feel like they could be fun. Just taken down an armoured troll

What Becomes of Edith Finch. Atmospheric, quirky, gorgeous looking but very linear and short ( 3 hours for me, 2 for most people). Is that normal?
Before Your Eyes was similar - maybe Steam is suggesting these to me cos it thinks I like them?! I do, but wish they lasted longer!
Life is Strange next I think. Except the episodes seem expensive. G
