Yup, that's about right. I quite like the occasional short game, means I can go start to finish in an evening/weekend. Did you enjoy WRoEF? I loved it, thought it was well paced and a decent length.

I was recommended the Talos Principle on this thread some time ago. Played and thoroughly enjoyed. The sequel is due out next month and looks to be an evolution on the theme. Considering the pre-order...
Currently playing Dysmantle, Hades (still!), Sea of Stars, Nier Replicant, and Tetris Effect: Connected. Somewhat unfocused, mirroring my life at the moment.

So, when describing your games can you say what genre / type pls. Tun by turn, strategy, shooters, platform etc. Cos basically, I don't like shooters etc!
Yes, loved Edith Finch. Great story telling and visuals, really immersive. Wasn't actually much to do, more like just a guided story. G

Couldn’t cope with Edith Finch as it gave me terrible motion sickness which no amount of settings tweaks seemed to fix. Loved Hogwarts Legacy, especially as the side quests seemed much more integral to the story to the extent that I was happy to carry on with them once I’d finished the main storyline. Currently coming to terms with Baldur’s Gate 3. Turn based combat is a new one for me, never having been a D&D player.

Sure - makes sense
From my previous post: Talos Principle - 1st person environmental puzzler Dysmantle - open world adventure with destructible map Hades - Rogue-like. Possibly my favourite game of all time. Sea of Stars - old-school-style turn based RPG Nier Replicant - Japanese ARPG Tetris - well, it's Tetris

Talos Principle looks good - Myst-like? (my references tend to be very old!) Dysmantle, fun? Is it single or multiplayer (I don't like multiplayer so much!) Hades, too much fighty fighty for me. Sea of Stars - never really played turn by turn. NieR Replicant - fighty fighty!
Tetris - peerless!

I've been looking at trailers for The Day Before - and thinking it looks good. Only trouble is, I don't have a PS5.

You're seriously missing out with Hades, it's amazing. The voice acting is great, although they take some real liberties with Greek myth, but the interplay between the characters is great. And it's the queerest game I've ever had the pleasure to be surprised by.
Dysmantle can be single player or played co-op. I've just been single playering it.
And Talos not so much Myst (very dated reference!) - the first one has you exploring a large number of rooms, redirecting beams of light to open paths up, turn switches on and off, etc. That doesn't do it justice. But I'm looking forward to the sequel!

Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard - will that reduce creativity? (Not that I like Call of Duty anyway!) And selling off their cloud gaming division - is that because they think there will always be powerful local devices with storage (XBox, PC etc.)
Do we have an opinion? Do we care?!
Totally separate question - Anyone watched films with VR headset Meta Quest or other? G
