I like that idea meadowsboy, I've planned something similar along the Kennet and Avon near where I live (but not all of it!). I do like a canal!

My year total for 2019 so far is 260 miles
& today i went out with a local walking group for the 1st time, a nice but a bit muddy 7 miles.
you learn so much from being with other people i really enjoyed the company &chat .

I've started a walking subgroup of the village running group. Not quite sure on the objectives yet, apart from Making Sure Lizzie Goes For A Walk! Aiming at injured runners, people who don't think they can run, possibly dogs and buggies. I'm not sure what pace that would be...
