Well, that's your breakfast suggestion
I have, irl, a chest infection, which the last couple of nights has caused me serious grief with coughing at night. Last night, I had a kind of not-dream when I had to (actually) sit upright in bed for a couple of hours due to bursts of coughing and when I felt I could actually lie down again the number "7000" appeared, illuminated, right in front of me. I knew this related to the coughing level and 7000 was ok to lie down, but then I started wondering what a high reading was. Whilst sitting up, each burst of coughing was somehow related to an area of town. It wasn't much like my town, as although they were three main areas, there were also side bits, and we definitely don't have a safari park. Somehow I back reasoned that each burst of coughing was around 15 000 and each set cycled through the three main areas with one or more other bits, so a high cough reading was 60 000 to 100 000.
Anyway. I do hope I have rather less of a cough tonight.

I was watching Crystal Palace v Manchester City. It was 0-0 and had been an extremely dull game in which nothing of note had happened. The tannoy announcer said "the 4th official has indicated that there will be 12 seconds of additional time." He then went on to say something like that must be a record, I don't think I've ever seen that little added on time, but before he could finish the referee blew the final whistle.

Like this thread, dreams can be so random.
I often wake up thinking wow must tell OH this dream only to find I cant actually recall it... bizarre.
Bit like last nights dream - it was focused on my neighbour who is very ill (palliative care) and me/friends being at a festival/shopping centre. Feels clear in my brain until I try to recall it.

I am going to see if I can write things down. If I instantly re-tell myself my dream, it stays...

Combination of weird things.
My daughter, her friend and I were given free tickets to American football game. Daughter and I got there first and somehow we were looking after an approximately 9 month old baby. Daughters friend arrived eventually but not before daughter was worried she’d forgotten/got lost etc
Then the venue turned into a place performing Shakespeare possibly at the same time as American football.
And it all ended up in a hairdressers. Both my mum and my daughter were going to be starting part time jobs there on Monday and both needed to confirm they would be there. Not sure what they were going to be doing - not cutting hair. It then became clear that I was going to have to look after the baby, whoever it was.

Sigh
Last night I dreamt that I had been required to sit GCSE English Language for some unexplained reason (this dream is set in the present day), and in the dream I'd been called to a meeting to discuss my result. The review of my paper, and the meeting, was with a lady called Katie who worked in the HR dept at my old company - her nickname was "Black Widow" in reference to her poisonous attitude - and she was taking great delight in telling me that I'd failed.
Indignant, I replied that it didn't matter as I'd already passed 'O' level English Language 40 years ago, and anyway their paper was a nonsense as all the questions were about Arlo Guthries' "Alice's Restaurant Massacree".
Then I woke up.

I've been on my way back to school many times to sit an exam for which I had not studied for decades. I don't think I've ever made it to the exam let alone found out my result.

[I quite often dream I have to sit exams, but for subjects I should have been studying. Although, since I haven't been going to classes, I'm not sure which exams I should be sitting, and if I do know, when the exam is to be held.]

I was on rugby tour, and was apparently back with my uni boyfriend who was a bit of a controlling and manipulative manchild , so he wasn't enjoying me being free and happy with the rugby girls, but he couldn't do anything about it other than sulk.
We were on a boat, but not a big cruiseship or even anything as big as as ferry, maybe something about the size of the boat in Death on the Nile.
There were various rugby tour type activities, and I got a temporary tattoo by of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, surfing on a rugby ball, over the front of my right hip.
