Hanneke Jun 2023 7:56pm, 1 Jun 2023 104,181 posts	0 Hanneke I have a Bodum bladed grinder. I bought it probably 25 years ago or so. It is fab... I also have a hand grinder, s/s burrs. I bought it after a 48 hr power cut had me mashing up beans in a pestle and mortar!

I am thinking of buying 4kg of my fav beans and freeze them. That will probably last c 4 -5 months. Hopefully in time to find alternatives

It'll be mostly used for grinding Aldi (or similar) beans for an Aeropress. This has now been unexpectedly resolved by my daughter buying me a John Lewis coffee grinder for Dad's Day. One with a whizzy blade. No ceramic burrs for me.
