No coffee at home but popping out to local deli some mornings for excellent coffee. Gets me out via the park pre-working from home.

I have an Aeropress I'm not using, Glenners. I can drop it round if you're Jonesing.

Not getting out much, so buying coffee from Dear Green, mail order. Lovely coffee, great service, let down by Royal Mail being a bit rubbish... though probably entirely understandably so.

Seems to be a shortage of filter papers in my local shop so I'm drinking coffee from my stovetop Balzano, French press, and Rancilio Silvia. I've run out of aeropress papers, too.

I'm getting my lockdown beans mail order from here:

yellowbourbon.co.uk

They're consistently good.

I've always used Aeropress filters up to half a dozen times before chucking.

Last time I needed them, I bought cheap fake aeropress filters, and had to use 2 at once to get a good clean cup. I tried to reuse them once, and made a spectacular mess!

I have been known to make them from standard filter papers some times, too.

I’ve got some Rave coffee beans at the moment. Chatswood blend is a very dark espresso and very nice. A bit more Money than the Aldi beans I usually get but they have been a bit erratic with stock and I am not sure I like their new blends as much.

I haven't taken the time to make myself a decent coffee for ages - 2 weeks!? - so I cleaned out the dry grounds from my Aeropress and ground some beans.
Deep breath in. Slow breath out.

It was really nice to take the time to do that one little thing. :-)

I have to take you to task with only cleaning out the dried grounds 2 weeks after last use - surely everyone cleans the press out immediately!?!

A good coffee is well worth taking time for though - one of the highlights of lockdown has been getting to drink coffee at home rather than rank instant at work!

I've managed to get supplies of my preferred Delta Portuguese coffee beans from Amazon recently. Dried up completely at one time, then there were stupid offers where the delivery was as much as the product.

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
