No milk, no sugar, nice and strong. Single origin bean, usually from South America.

Hmm, interesting JJ. Before has been a good move for me in the past and then I wouldn't have one after.

I've been having some lovely coffees out recently. Boston Tea Party, Thali Cafe + a free one in Finisterre - all in Bristol where I live.

I had the slightly alarming realisation recently that I rarely drink anything that doesn’t contain caffeine :-O

In fairness in the past it would have been caffeine OR alcohol but I’ve not had an alcoholic drink for 14 months now

My teenage daughter has taken to brewing up fresh coffe then assembling huge flagons of the stuff complete with milk and ice cubes .her final flourish is an environmentally dubious plastic straw ( back of cupboard since 2010 )

“ mum ...I’m not sleeping very well at the moment I feel terrible “ 🙄

My friends have a DeLonghi machine where I'm currently dog-sitting.

I've had to put it to strongest setting for my morning espresso and it's just about strong enough.

No posts on here since Oct! I've been going a bit coffee-mad. Started a new job which entails me getting up at 06:00 3 times a week then meeting and greeting course applicants from 07:30. Have been needing good coffee. Tried some of the Union Coffee Co stuff but it's a bit meh. No excuse when we have plenty of good coffee companies in Bristol although a lot of them are in not so easy to get to places with my new job. Need to put in an on-line order with 2-Day.

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
