Morning all. Yesterday my plans for today were cancelled, so I have a free day. Not sure what to do, but the weather suggests I should do a little run at some point.

Morning lovely fetchies. Been absent but still here but still reading forums.

London training is going mostly well with 8 weeks to go and then I’m done with marathons.

I’ve decided to pull out of any further races just now and see how I feel after London. Want to get out on the trails more for sure.

Morning all

Lovely day here, just back from a walk

Going to spend some quality time with grandsons today - haven't seen them properly for what feels like ages

Next door are knocking down a dividing wall in the garden, which is right by my greenhouse/veg area - wonder how many panes of glass will be smashed 🫣

Five miles of run-wslk done gives me my highest weekly mileage do far this year :-)
Maybe *whispers so as not to tempt fate* my running is getting back on track?

The weather is helping a lot, no doubt about it!

Afternoon gonks. North Lincs half plan was to average at 8.30 per mile for a 1.51.something.

Average pace was 8.30 per mile and did 1.51.43 I think. medal

Perfect conditions and I felt really good. Mile 11 a bit slower than planned but apart from that all pretty much perfect.

Will find another half to target sub 1.50. Working on the gradual improvement thing is working well.

Good luck to all other racers and runners and well done to LD for an excellent week.
