Didn’t parkrun but did do a gentle run out.

Happy anniversary to the Moos.

I felt really wobbly this morning, wasn't sure if I should race but after warming up felt OK so decided to aim for sub 25 at the 5K race. Ran 24.33, my slowest ever time out of 7 attempts but I'm buzzing from it, really enjoyed it and pleased with the time considering how I felt first thing. A minute away from a course PB, Sal was also a minute off a course PB with 28.28. Beer and breakfast after! Great start to the day.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Moo. You're doing better than I did; we only stuck it for 35 years.

parkrun done; squeezed in under the 50 minutes. 1st and last in category. The first finisher was a woman! - 3 seconds ahead of the 1st man. It was the Groe's 200th parkrun, so there were cakes at the end.
