If it was just down to walking, I reckon I could go beyond my original target of 13 laps (each lap is just over a mile, hence only needing one more to get to 13.1 miles.) It's actually quite addictive

My sons are both exhorting me to keep going but I think I might just overdo it if I keep going beyond 14 miles. I've been lucky with the weather the rain we've had has been very brief and although the wind is very gusty it hasn't really been a nuisance. I'm lucky I did it here rather than in Cheltenham - it's the Cotswold Way Relay today and the photos on the club website are of very wet and bedraggled runners!
