Just done my 11th F'lap. One more will give me just over Half Marathon distance, but I'm having to nurse my knee a lot now. If it was just down to walking, I reckon I could go beyond my original target of 13 laps (each lap is just over a mile, hence only needing one more to get to 13.1 miles.) It's actually quite addictive |

Well done @LazyDaisy that’s awesome, especially with a sore knee. 8 x 2 miles for me so far. Personally I think it’s the number of laps is hardest, rather than the distance. The breaks are nice but getting going again hurts 😁

Quite, Cheeky's Dad, by the time I'm getting home at the end of the mile my knee has eased, but when I start again - ouch!!

Well done F’Lappers. Not the best day for it. One of the wetter parkruns for my 250th. You’d think be complaining of being too hot in July, nae getting a soaking! Now (im)patiently waiting for milestone t-shirt size to be available. |

Thank you. I've decided to be boringly sensible and stick to original target of 13 laps. My sons are both exhorting me to keep going but I think I might just overdo it if I keep going beyond 14 miles. I've been lucky with the weather the rain we've had has been very brief and although the wind is very gusty it hasn't really been a nuisance. I'm lucky I did it here rather than in Cheltenham - it's the Cotswold Way Relay today and the photos on the club website are of very wet and bedraggled runners! |

I’m hoping it becomes a regular thing because I do want to try it.

That's it, I'm done. A nice shower and a tasty supper for me now. And an early night!
