Paula that is the attitude I'm going to try and cultivate from now on. The first question I'll ask myself is 'Did I enjoy it?' And maybe *then* I'll look at my time ;-)

Sounds lovely, ar.
I’m enjoying being back home for a week and discovering this morning that I’d lost half a pound in the 4 weeks that we’ve been touring Spain.

This week’s plan is to spend as much time as possible with the grandchildren before I fly back to Valencia next Monday to join Mr Woo and Maisy for another 2 or 3 weeks in the motorhome.
Run 1 of week 4 of C25K to do later.

Been for a swim in the Lido. You forget quite how far a 50m pool can feel when you haven't swum for a few months!! Also cycled there and back (it's only just over a mile, but uphill all the way home.) I think I'll have a rest day tomorrow :-)

That’s my only question to people who’ve completed a run - did you enjoy it? If they venture information about the time then fair enough but it’s so far away from being my priority now that I never ask. I want them to know that other things about running are equally, if not more. important.

I pulled out of my club training this evening as I would have struggled with that intensity but did an easy 4 miles this morning, my first run in a week. After the first toxic mile, I enjoyed it. 😉

So, first day at the gym, deadlifting 30k. 5 sets of 5 with loads of rest. On set 4, I felt the back crunch. It was as though I could hear it. Hoping it is not too serious.
