Nice to briefly meet you Idris. And run behind you round the course! 😂

A tough one for me today. Hamstring tight. Needed to stop for a pee at 3 miles and nothing in the tank from the get go. Think working almost 50 hours this week wasn’t helpful. So a run/walk from about 4 miles onwards. Think I was 7 seconds better than last year…..when I’d done 5 miles before the start and likely had COVID. And about 20 mins slower than my last half in September.

Apart from that was good! 😂

Nice one Idris bunting & congrats Kim on pushing through a tough one.

I did my longest run in six months today at a smidge over 11km. It was slow and hard work with lots of aches & groans but really good to get my Sunday “long” run back. Onwards & upwards!
