19km on ice, in -10C in 2hr19. Dreadful. My water supply froze ❄️.

Formally achieved marathon plan for the day but still in no fit shape even for a respectable half. I still might drop down and leave the real thing for next year when I will have a luxury sabbatical during which to prepare.

Copied from the Mundane thread: Apologies to anyone who follows my training. In an attempt to get the detail of my run into my training entry I appear to have quadruplicated this morning's entries, and have had to delete them. And I still can't get the route or splits uploaded to Fetch while they're completely fine and visible on Connect and strava :-(

Back after my 10 miler in Suffolk. Happy that I got round and slightly quicker than expected, especially as it was my last event in my present age category. Also one of the best organised events I have done.

Carpathius, didn't realise you were doing the 20 miler!
