Morning everyone and luck to all racers

I’ve had a small run (think I’m going to try for my 50 day streak badge….) and need to do various house type things when I get back home.

There are various probably hungover teenagers so I will probably hold off hoovering for a while 😃

Morning everyone! luck for the racers!

I did a mile of sprint-ish intervals. That's alm I could manage but at least I've kicked off my October mileage. Always look on the bright side :-)

I ran a 10k! I hesitate to say ‘raced’ but it was an official race - Run Kent Tonbridge 10k. Closed roads, countryside, lovely scenery but both hotter and hillier than I’d expected. Walked a few bits, stopped to take my shirt off (shock! horror! I ran in public in my sports bra, something I never expected to do!), sang a bit. My fastest 5k recently was 33 mins so I was expecting around 1:10 - very pleasantly surprised to come in at 1:01:35 😊. On a flat run with a bit of training I think I could break 1:00 again. 😊
