These days I get back ache if I stay in bed too long. It's very annoying. I really must get back to running soon. I shall put in a plan for tomorrow.

Morning everyone - and I hope your vaccine reaction has settled Carp, that sounds very unpleasant xx

Novel day for us today. Our DiL(ish) is appearing in court locally (barrister, not defendant!!) so she's bringing the baby with her and we'll look after her while Mum's in court. Mum is still in theory on maternity leave but it's a case she's had long involvement with; the baby doesn't start at nursery til April, hence our opportunity :-)

I wasn't going to run today anyway but the light sprinkling of snow we've had overnight confirms that decision!

Unexpected granny duties is a nice bonus today, LD.
I’m deciding when to get up. I fell asleep again after waking at 6am and woke up when G brought me a cuppa half an hour ago. It looks cold out, but we are going to buy a new bed for our guest room, so will need to get up sometime.

Total run fail yesterday, having sat in my kit all day, so rolled out of bed and straight out for a run this morning. I got hailed on, it really stung - wouldn't have happened if I'd gone yesterday like I was supposed to. That'll teach me!

Yes - my birthday - off to Amsterdam and the Vermeer exhibition. Last 10k was Guildford in 2019, whick someone here described as mind-numbingly dull
