I went for a run. Built in several tactical walking breaks and also a cO op to replenish liquids and also cut it down to 8k rather than 10k so feel pleased with myself

Afternoon all. I've missed lots of posts, so just hope everyone is doing ok I didn't sleep well last night and I was so sure I would. Too hot and too noisy with traffic by The Premier Inn. I'm home now so should get a decent sleep tonight 🤞I'm blogging Tough Mudder in parts; it was too big a day for one blog |

Another 8 miles done. An out and back at beach. Like an oven on the way out. Felt like gale force winds on the way back. A tough one. Also seem to have tweaked my back yesterday. Seems fine running thankfully. Hope it eases off soon. |

Hi Wezza, welcome back Linds, that's amazing! Hugs for ITG (gentle ones, obvs!) Well done Kim and any other mad monkey who ran today. I may run later. But for now, I am on the sofa. Brilliant weekend in Jersey. Fitted a lot in, in under 48 hours. A nod is in order. |

It is pouring here - if it stops soon I might run, but we do have thunder and lightning ⛈️ so maybe not!

Funny, AL, just started absolutely pelyting it here too! I am sitting in car (OH driving) after a swim. At least until I get a rotator cuff injury, I can do that.

for Pothunter's ultra, and additional for 700. To judge by that bin, you were a mere stone's throw from where Elder Daughter and her family live. Well done on the fresh start, ThorntonRunner Which reservoir is it? (I grew up in Leicester). Wonderful midsummer sunset photo, Som. Do I gather you're running the parkrun alphabet? As I understand it, Exeter is acceptable for X, and you may have to go to Poland for Z. for Daisy's 200th parkrun. Only another 50 and you get a new T-shirt. Also for Idris's 100th parkrun. ITG - depending on how bad the sprain is, that ankle could take quite a long time to recover. Maybe the disc will recover as well, while you're resting the ankle. |
