I echo that wish Mandy!

Ran very conservatively down to the coffee meet-up and knee was fine. Nice catch-up (I've missed the last few weeks and gave a good luck hug to a friend who'll have run Tokyo Marathon before I see her next. Then another slow run with a few walks back home so five miles in all, Unfortunately 5 miles seems to be the point at which my knee gets unhappy :-( Hey ho, stretches and rollering and massaging and positive thoughts *will* work, I'm determined!

Ah the Tokyo marathon :-) I loved that marathon. My brother was meant to run it this year, but he got injured :-(
Which reminds me, thread nephew is at it again. He's received an invitation to a spring athletics training programme - only the top 4 kids in each discipline in the whole of Tokyo get to go :-o

Excellent, thread nephew!
My friend is proposing we run a 45km trailly, hilly run this summer. From the blurb... this are is sometimes called the Alps of the West Fjörds.

I am trying to persuade her for the half which is 25.
