Well done Sweetie - I would take the 8.10 and WAVA pb. I think the gun time would only important in placing people in the race??

🎃 Gorgeous day here! I was meant to be taking some of my Afghan family on a daytrip but must just cancelled. I will see her at some point but it is a shame as it is bright and sunny which does not happen that often up here! |

Congratulations on the PB Sweetie Hope all the Park Runners have had good runs and a big Thank You to all the volunteers. A surprisingly quick 8 miles for me this morning as I set out for an easy run. |

Parkrun was ok. It's a perfect morning, maybe a little cool but lovely and sunny. And though I did manage a lot fewer walking breaks (in fact only one, on the second pebble hairpin bend) and three sub 10 miles I'm still a long way from the magic sub 30. Sigh.

Thanks for the feedback, it would appear that the results were 5 seconds out anyway - everyone's times were off, so I will definitely stick with my Garmin time. RRR-CAZ 🇬🇧 To clarify there was no chip mat at the start, only one at the finish. So timing was from the gun for all runners, not when individuals crossed the start line. I also had a storming run (for me) at parkrun this morning 28.01, my fastest 5k for 15 years! |

Bloody ace morning. Aimed for sub 27 and got it. Lovely to see familiar faces and meet new ones and dogs.

Another +1 for a PB from me too Sweetie. If you got a chip time from crossing the start to finish I would take that every time. If the race don’t give that then I think Garmin time is 100% fair. It does a social good too otherwise anyone aiming for a PB would be pushing to the front at the start and causing chaos.

Standard parkrun for me. Still a bit of a struggle. My watch had 28.53 seconds. Official time 28.54. I needed 53 seconds for last stopwatch bingo!!!
