Logged my highest ever monthly mileage after todays run. I am hoping that I don't beat it over the coming months by virtue of having plenty of other things to do......

ITG 🇮🇸
We're all going on an Easter holiday! Well, not all. DS15 just got a job and is staying home. Desperate to see the volcano tomorrow! Forecast is good but traffic likely to be horrendous and they will block access when the parking gets full. |

Exciting on both counts, ITG. Also exciting re TeeBee's HM (where?) I made a good decision and a bad decision today. Good decision: Leaving a can of Coke in a cool bag in the car for after my run. Bad decision: 7 miles in the midday sun. Heart rate through the roof and unsurprisingly my Garmin declares I was unproductive! Definitely cheating and getting a lift to collect Turtle. Will mean she can change into a sundress to walk home too, which she'll like. |

Here, TM. runthrough.co.uk Private land, which I guess is why it's been approved. I entered last year but presumed it would be cancelled, but never was. |

And another forest run - overcast but humid. Really is good to be out there. Found these today ... The some of these And saw the same deer on the way back (probably, in the same area, same sort of numbers & does only group. I don't recognise them by name) Thi time from across the river - but as thy were does only, they are far more scatty than if they have a few stags with them, so they were off as soon as they saw us. 5 miles done, cutting in to the 700 schedule shortfall this week. |

Well done Tractor. I like your thinking! 5 wet & windy miles with friend. I’d had never gone out on my own. Horrible weather here. Dreich is the word for it. One of my lowest March miles total. But pleased considering niggles, work and still having little appetite. Fingers crossed April is a better month! |

Carp - that sounded like a tough training session. Running sideways up steps? - never heard of that as part of training. What's it supposed to be good for? Enjoy your Easter holiday ITG and I hope you get a good vantage point for inspecting the volcano. A *real* Half-marathon, TeeBee! Sunny and warm here, but not too warm for running. Two runs: one into town, the other one back again. |
