Good stuff Linds
ITG: could you treat the first 2 races as training? Or run-walk the hilly trail run? Just don’t race all 3, pick one to race and treat the others as fun runs

Well done Linds :)
ITG it doesn't really compare, but when I did the Tour of Merseyside (6 races in a week, with the longest a Half at the start) I did 'back to back' training runs. For the week itself my plan had been to alternate 'race' with 'easy' per event, but in fact I ended up holding back a little in race 1 and then raced the middle four events - I was pretty wiped out by the final race (12 miles) but made it to the finish. I did take the week off work so I could focus on recovery during the day times.

Well done Linds :-)

I got on my road bike and I did 18 miles on it. Actually I did a little bit more but I forgot to restart my Garmin after...

Just as I was setting off I got a call from a very good running friend to say that her husband had died suddenly yesterday. It sounds like an aneurysm so she couldn't have done anything and he was already dead when she found him, but obviously a massive shock. I called in to see her and we sat 2m apart on her patio. So,so difficult not to hug her :-(

Crap year so far, 2020, isn't it.

Great stuff Linds 👏

Really feel for your friend LD, that must have been awful, and so hard for you not to be able to give her a hug.

Good work Linds, at least you can be sure you have the moral high ground in every respect - whether or not you go back. :-)
