Autumnleaves
My beginners are too bloody keen - had to crack down on them organising their own rogue group run at the same time and place as usual...

My gym, run by Fusion, has just closed. Some of the classes are Les Mills - Pump, Combat etc. They have offered us a ‘Freeze’ contract until they re-open, which is basically access to the Les Mills on-line classes - all of them, I believe. This will cost £10 per month instead of the usual £40. Granted we don’t have access to the gym equipment but I’m happy.
Particularly as I’d just cancelled my personal subscription to Les Mills online (£12 per month) as it was an extra expense I couldn’t quite justify.

Morning all 👍

It seems a bit strange having a lay in on a Saturday morning. I’m usually up & about by now & getting ready to jog over to Littlehampton or Worthing for parkrun.

I shall take part in the “virtual” parkrun later on today. Have a nice weekend everyone. Mmmmmm, not sure 🤔 about that last sentence in these troubled times, but I’m sure you all know what I mean.

Best of luck to all the “virtual” runners.

TeeBee
Morning.

Good to hear you family are safe ferret. We have a WhatsApp group which includes my brother in Japan. It's very reassuring.

Feeling really sad this morning. Doesn't help that things keep popping up in my calendar which aren't happening now :-( Will run today but haven't signed up for the parkrun. Not sure why, but I'm just finding it all too upsetting. :-(

I went to see dad yesterday who is in a conveslence care home after his 2nd hip replacement in 18 months. I was really worried about going, but kept my distance from him (no hugs or kisses), and we went for a walk around the garden. He's doing so well for an 84 yr old. I'm really glad I went.

Stay safe and well everyone heart

Fragile Do Not Bend
Morning. Not running virtual parkrun, Mr FDNB are going for an early walk in the local countryside so we can be back home for lunch. Can’t now have a walk with a pub/cafe lunch break unless we want to eat outside or in the car.

That's good news about your dad TeeBee!

Morning all. My dreams were largely based on my recent reading of All the Light We Cannot See, ie being under siege and occupation :-0 Anyway, a run this morning, a spot of gardening and an afternoon dog walk is almost like normal :-)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
