Morning :)

Glad some of you have managed a bit of contact with your distant loved ones before the hatches are battened down good and proper.

TeeBee: I just went through my calendar yesterday and cleared everything except birthdays. It made me feel better not seeing anything in there except public holidays and weird stuff Google adds like Trooping the Colour! Glad your dad is ok.

I exercised a lot yesterday so a bit stiff. Might have a walk today.

It was a matter of time, but my MIL's best friend (for decades) is now very ill in hospital with the virus and of course they cannot visit. Inlaws are getting very stressed and my OH is on a slippery slope of anxiety. I'll try to get a good long run later bit weather is pretty bad for it (about 2C amd windy so all melting).

Our kids are doing pretty well though. One has school before lunch and the other after lunch for now (plus homework) which reduces bickering opportunities. LO is pretty bummed he may not play with friends outside his narrow class group but, with a few tears, has accepted the situation. They are mostly lucky enough to have PS4s so they can hangout online.

But FINALLY they closed the skilifts so we shouldn't have the Reyjavki people (where nearly all the cases are) coming here on the weekends.

Morning 700ers heart I put the virtual link in the sidererer I haven’t signed up either as not sure about my chest this morning but I’m in my run kit and will take advantage of Sighs relaxed timing rules. I had Joopsy grand national style commentary for the DrK parkrun in my head this morning when I got dressed :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Serendippily
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
