Oh dear AR. At least you're with family and not in some impersonal hotel. I gather Bavaria has gone into lockdown now too. :-(

Hope you're OK AR.

An announcement "clarifying" our position in this as 3rd year nurses has just utterly confused me. It makes no sense and doesn't match up with what we have been told to expect and what the government have said. Also, I might be excluded anyway.

Easter Monday at the earliest now. :-p

Another week wouldn't have been too bad but............ I have a garden, jigsaw puzzles and sofas at home. ;-)

AR: hopefully things will have calmed down here by then. You probably wouldn’t want to be here right now, so much chaos

Last yoga class snuck in before the church shuts. Hand sanitizer at all doors and there were 4 of us in a huge hall. Just what we needed! Sad to not have that yoga teacher for a while, she’s in her 70s and younger than most of the class so she won’t be doing anything online! I’ve learnt a lot from her though

AR at least there has been no fresh snow tempting you to hike up the Galzig

Just had a moment with MrsP we realised that today is the last day afer over 27 years of not having a chil at school :-(

mind you the consumption of alcohol to commemorate paubs being shut may have also helped

stay safe everyone

Very busy day at work for me. Hoping I can get in on Monday as not got quite enough set up to be at home full time yet. Trains eerily quiet.

Columba
No run here, but a lot of walking including twice round the lake with OH. He is anxious and depressed and sleeping badly. He's been used to going away a lot, - abroad, or to London - and hates being shut up in his flat. He felt a bit better for the walk though, and said can we do it again tomorrow.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
