It’ll be better soon, just annoying not being able to put my socks on or do up my shoelaces! On the plus side I’m looking forward to being able to exercise properly again in a few days hopefully :)

Ran a few chilly miles this morning which got me to my revised upward target of 900 miles which is also the highest annual total I have ever achieved. A sliver of silver lining in what has been generally an awful year.

Now moving in to the next room to register on the 2021 thread........

Definitely not going for a run, the slushy snow was really slippery on the pavements when I took the dog out and the fields are just like sodden sponges.

Although it is cold out here it is quite bright. No sign of rain for now but the forecast can’t make up its mind about whether it is coming or not.

I was fully wrapped up for my run (although shed the snood, gloves and jacket over the 7 miles). Saw one runner in shorts and T-shirt (and gloves). Made me cold just seeing him!

A skitey 6 miles here. Bright but cold. First half of run was fine but second half deceptively slippy in places.

Still wearing shorts here. No gloves. A t-shirt & long sleeved top did the job. I have a lovely new gilet I’ve yet to wear as not been cold enough. Think it might get its debut soon though. Definitely getting colder

That took me to highest ever December mileage and I’m 1 mile off highest ever total. Back to work tomorrow so hopefully finish early on Wednesday and squeeze in a couple of miles.

No running today, but a lovely 6 mile walk with Bint instead, including a wonderful muddy stomp around the woods.

Great! :)

I donned long johns under my jeans and buff under my helmet and managed a little bike ride before the rain came back in soon after I got back home.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
