Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning. We're off to the Isle of Wight today. The London restrictions are troubling, because my SiL and her family are staying in one of the houses we've rented. They are two households from London boroughs so they're legit tonight but (we think) not tomorrow night even though they won't be in London. :-(

We're OK as we're sharing a flat with Son1 and A and our areas are still the lowest tier.
*sigh*

Sorry to hear that Columba x

I’ve lost track too of what week we are in of our lockdown restrictions. We also now have to wear a mask whenever leave desk which is a pain.

Sorry to hear about your neighbour, Columba. It is very hard to lose someone suddenly, eveb if they are older.

I’m sorry too, Columba, a sudden sad shock for everyone.

Glad your injury is improving, Pothunter :-) sounds promising. My “attend anywhere” physio appointment started late, finished early, the result was some exercises to be posted to me. Of course I’ll do them but I seem to be a very old nuisance, & today my neck has joined in & nags constantly, think I’ll sulk for a while ;-) Hope you have a sunny time on the IOW, LD, despite Covid intruding so rudely. I’m fairly sure many the visitors here won’t change their plans, nor would I expect them too especially changeover w/e. Bonkers. heart you all, thank goodness for fetch/700 thread, enjoy the day & w/e, take care everyone

So sorry, Columba - that must have been such a shock.
Shame about the physio appointment, ferret - maybe the exercises will help anyway.
Have a good weekend regardless, LD x

I'm going for a run/walk with the little dog later. Hope the ankle's improved a bit since Tuesday's run.

Stinking Edge Wood run today - quite hilly and a few streams to cross. Slowly getting fit enough to do runs like this, although knee still a bit dodgy on downhills (and lungs a bit knackered on uphills).

But, when I win the lottery, I want a house like this one (Bramshaw Deer Sanctuary)
