Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ditched club training and 4 easy miles locally instead. They were very nice. Think I am over the worst with my cold 🤞

Not many down at the club tonight. Given the wind and rain I wasn't surprised. Ended up leading a group tonight due to no-show of the person who was down for it. Only 5 of us so it meant we could keep together and not stop. 10 mins into the run, the rain stopped and the wind died as well. 4.3 miles done (not a fast pace for me) but plenty of chatting with a couple of people who have come up from our Couch to 5K group. Pleasant evening. Tea done - now to get the fire lit and watch the final part of Bosch Season 1 (a bit behind - only just found it).

What a wet and blustery day! I've not long been home as I've been at a Governor's meeting. I knew I wouldn't want to run this late at night so I did walking round the school field on the artificial grass track at lunchtime with the little behaviour group who needed some "counselling. We usually sit inside. It blew a few cobwebs away and we got a bit damp but the other pupils were outside enjoying playing around the playground. I didn't think to start my Garmin until we'd done 3 laps so I figure we did about a mile in total. They weren't very keen!

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
