Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hello, everyone - happy birthday, Carp and congrats to Mr Woo. Five soggy miles around east Mcr at lunchtime but given my current motivation levels (lacking), just getting out felt like a small win.

And I've finally got around to signing up for a 2020 race! Ms Dipps - would you mind putting me in for Heaton Park HM on the 26th Jan please? :)

6 miles on the cards for tomorrow. I’m hoping I can do it first thing, on the way to work, rather than on the way home.

Great news about Mr Woo.

I made myself go out for a very hard interval session. Rain was just s drizzle, and there were only a few occasions that wind got overly gusty.

Loads of dolphins when I got home, although legs are a bit hurty now :-)

Hurrah for Mr Woo :-)

Car failed the MOT but only on minor stuff. Will be dropping it back off on Wednesday next week. Feels like a result.

To answer your question from a few pages back Rosehip, I’ve put on nearly three stone since I stopped running and got stupidly unfit.

Hence the dreadmill.

Thank you all for birthday wishes :) I did indeed have a good day; chocolate cream tea for lunch and Pieminister for dinner, and 7.3 extraordinarily soggy and windy miles along the Exe in between. I arrived back at T1's house drenched to the skin and quite muddy, and had to wring out my hanky and socks on the doorstep. It was a great run :)
