Thanks, Ferret and Dipps. Since I can get a refund right up to the end of the month, I'll see how the 30km forest run goes and decide. I'd really hate to blow up my marathon.

Hectic week at work. New system due to go live next week so we’re at the panic stations stage. Long hours and not much sleep. Grand total of 960 steps today. Hope to get a much needed run soon!

Morning, after switching my alarm off early on Wed I forgot to switch it back on for today's run :-O - luckily my inbuilt alarm woke me at 4.59 so I got out for my 5 miles :-)

Had a serious case of CBA'd this week. Felt too tired to go for a run in the mornings. Need to get act together and start to train for Coniston 14 in November even though I'm pretty sure it won't happen. If I don't do my personal park run tomorrow, can someone send Sharktopus round please!

Nice one LG, I've got a bit addicted to me early runs (although waiting to see what happens when the daylight hours shrink).
Good luck with your new system PH!

Running with a Fetchie today. Ice cream may be involved.

Well done early runners and good luck at work PH
I walked for miles yesterday and ended the day almost a kilo lighter and several WSW squares behind. I think I’m going to be mainly eating today

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
