Morning all. I’ve been AWOL. Life is so hectic.

I didn’t participate in the half at the weekend. A mixture of family commitments and the niggly back meant I missed out.

I feel untrained and unfit as well so I don’t think I’d have enjoyed it.

Does anyone know if you buy more hours for each day? I reckon I need some.

Feeling sorry for myself lol but at least the weather is picking up and I got out on a pootle this morning.

Hope you’re all good.

Morning all - took a while to dig out suitable work attire this morning as summer stuff is well packed away! On another late and crowded train crawling towards Manchester.

Morning all

Glorious dog walk and now sat at my desk on the coast thinking I would rather be outside than in. Mild panic has set in a realised on holiday next Friday and have loads of work to do before then so if you see me lurking kick me off here ....

Morning all.

Welcome back Andy.

Good luck for Sunday Caz. Looks like Ibiza will have been weather -appropriate training :-)
Spin class at lunchtime today and a run along the Thames this evening followed by wine-led recovery with friends. Can think of worse ways to spend a day :-)

Lovely day here too. Going for a massage shortly; one of my children gave me a Christmas present of vouchers for two massages, redeemable any time during the year.

Gorgeous day here for the first day of summer (sic) - for a change! Baby slept over at a friend's and is not home yet; big yin is at a football meet; old git is at the swimming pool (I stayed home in case baby made an appearance.) I'll do some work and maybe after lunch take baby downtown and scout for free waffles and hotdogs. There are municipal elections in a week or two so lots of freebies on offer ;)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
