Great run Linds!
Can you go running round work, Dio?
Bums and tums was EVIL today! I ran home on legs like jelly :) Predicting much hilarity when going downstairs tomorrow :)

Hello and welcome, Jason. You may find that keeping up with the running is easier than keeping up with the thread.

1st day of the NHS's C25K, so have actually logged some running! - Even though it's really run/walking. It's blowing a gale, but I thought I'd better go this morning because the forecast for this afternoon is even worse.

:-) good to see you back running Columba, & wind resistance adds strength training.

Very squally here, I’d like to ride over to see the waves at Portland but best not to.

ferret, they were reporting on the radio from the Cove pub this morning so it'll probably be on the telly tonight.

Apologies I'm not going back on the 120+ posts I've missed, I'll try harder to keep up :-)

I've been running again. Same route as Monday :-)

I haven't ever consulted anyone about my shoulder but I've assumed it's a frozen shoulder, Linds - painful to lie on at night, restricted RoM and things like throwing a stick for the dog without thinking can be excruciatingly painful. It's very gradually getting better but I need to warm up quite thoroughly before starting to swim as it can set it back if I don't.

It *will* get better Linds but can take a long time - I hope it's sooner rather than later for you xx

About This Thread

Maintained by Merrymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
