um
I suspect Sharktopus already tried to visit ITG and she was pushing back. 'Fat paint berg' indeed ... sharktopus coming through the pipes more like. (and can I ask about 'plumbers in nighties' - is that a thing in Iceland?)

I was dressed like that in case the real plumber came over. Have you not seen the movies?
[Truth is a lot more mundane. I had put drain cleaner down the night before and rinsed it out first thing, before I could do my teeth or what have you. I could still see some gunk, so unscrewed the drain cover to give it a wipe, thinking that would be it. Then I had to keep digging till I got down to the u-bend. No time to stop to get dressed! ITG was in full-action mode! Not like these softies digging out London's fatberg in full nuclear attack gear.]

Afternoon (where did the morning go?) ..
ITG - hope you're feeling better soon. Seren - well done. LD - I'd give track a miss if I'd done a 10ml race .. but then that's me.
I do know where the morning went A trestle table (quite a bit heavier than a 'pasting table') had to be manoeuvred back into the loft. But been sat on my bum since then making sure I have backed up all my photos and GoPro footage to dvd. I do have the photos/footage on an external hard drive but having worked with computers all my life, know not to trust them to keep working indefinitely.

Oh no, FDNB
I have indeed binned tonight's track. My strengthening class was quite hard enough for a post-race day.

Boo to yet more lurgies. and those still on the injury bench.
ITG, might your friend be having an ablation?
Great running dipps and others.
Phil, glad you got back in one piece, now knuckle down to that running stuff.
I had what was probably the best day of the holiday today, full on sunshine, great snow and a fab off piste run I'd not done for a few years. We hadto pay for it with a tricky, bumpy, icy escape through the trees to the path out.

❄️ ⛰ ☀️ (& glad you escaped safely through nightmare run out). Maybe, as you’re not running at the moment, try getting up there without using a lift tomorrow
