Bizarrely my foot did not hurt at all whilst running, having hurt on the walk from the cat to the race, but as soon as I stopped running across the finishing mat and walked again, it hurt, a lot
I'm guessing some sort of ligamenty tendonitisy thing. Might take it easy for this week to see if that helps.

I too had a great day, happy with time less than 2 hours, & a very sociable race, not what I was expecting at all , convinced I’d give up. (Walked the hill, twice, as running wasn’t gaining on the walkers in front) Well done all of you, brilliant GSR times, & Doogs too, & Alpenrose especially not spraining ankle - can be permanent problem & hurts like hell.
Feeling lucky at my age to enjoy this & the youngster who won did less than an hour, & very polite as he lapped us, cluttering up his path, lovely
