Morning :-) just!
Yesterday was lovely, & so glad we didn’t choose today 🌧
Get well soon AL & Bint (& Evelyn & any other minted chooks)
Had to get outside running earlier for my sanity really, & though soaked at the end, not cold. So quiet, no idea where the poor grackles disappear to in this weather, only people out were regulars.
:-) hello & congratulations getting back to running so well Mave,

Well done Mave!
Went to Rebound for the first time in weeks, luckily those holiday hills kept my fitness up nicely :)

Had a run. Very slow and achy, but I think it is the aftereffects of blood donation.

Hoping AL and Bint are well on the way to recovery, and will soon be able to tolerate more than dry cornflakes.

Similarly Evelyn the chicken. Couldn't help laughing at Carp shouting cooking instructions into the house while eliminating red mite from the chicken coop.
"Medium long run" extended to 6 miles this morning. This means I could in theory cope with a 10k. Rain early but had stopped by the time I went out.

A level results all good, chicken to vets (antibiotics, not so good, and eye-watering bill).
It was quite funny Columba, and as a bonus side effect my neighbours can now all make my paella ;)
Is there a 10k race that you could enter?

I hope AL and Bint are feeling better.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
