Hello Mave, good to hear from you!

I suffered a bit of cba-itis today I'm afraid. I was aiming to go out with the local club but when I thought about, but didn't, emailing them to ask if I could come along it seemed pretty clear I wasn't going to go. And lo, it came to pass that I didn't. Maybe last week's 25 mile-week has caught up on me a bit.

Hello Mave, good to hear you're still going, keep it up. :)

I had a lovely walk on Portland with ferret today. :) Perfect weather for it apart from not having clear long distant views. A bit hilly from time to time and I didn't feel like we'd done 7 1/2 miles at the end of it. Shame the pub wasn't serving food when we got there at the end.

Hi Mave and yay for C25K graduation :) pram

Ouch MB :(

Wanted to get to the trail run tonight but no chance (cba to type out why, I whinged on the Elderly Parents thread if anyone's interested).

Evelyn the chicken is sick :( Very anaemic. Checked the coop which I have been lax on for three weeks since MiL broke her hip. Massive infestation of red mite.

So I was rubbing Fullers earth into every nook, cranny and crevice of the coop until dark while shouting dinner instructions into the house :-o

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
