Carp, you are a good day's work
I leave shoes to dry (take the insoles out and stuff with newspaper if they're completely sodden) in a warmish spot and then bang them together outside the back door - that's about as clean as trail shoes need to be!
I need new Sealskinz, they're not properly waterproof any more had very cold toes this morning from frost melting on the top of shoes. Flippin' expensive though, anyone know of another make?
got sidetracked, forgot the rest!

Just done a 3 mile easy run,it would have been longer but I had too much bolonaise earlier.
Just what daisy said is what my muddy football boots got in years gone by,let them dry and bash them on something hard.
