Afternoon everyone :)

Hurrah ITG. From what I've read it is not easy to enter a race in another country!

Almost back to normal for me, so managed to drag my butt to the gym this morning and got a club run this evening :)

No, Dio, doesn't say I'm immortal, just says I can't sue race organiser. Think I might be able to sue the dr that signed me off though. If I weren't dead.

Corrah, the utter lunacy is that right now I DO live in fecking Italy! But I don't have a document because I am an EEA citizen and don't need one. Unless I want to join the national athletics organisation which is necessary to sign up to a race... and aaagh, oh fuck it.

I'm not 100% sure on QEP yet, Mr fleecy might not take kindly to me sodding off both days this weekend and doing TBC and going to London to meet ITG...Might have to see what his plans are first! Typical, I have nothing else planned for the whole entire year except for Beachy, it all happens in the start of the year.

Ran to and from the station, the second 2 miles were not easy cos I had a 3 course lunch and a pot of tea as well as a juice.

CStar, I was all over that Endure 24 place 5 minutes after she posted - now just need to find £70 without telling Mr Carp :-o
I have £20 birthday money.
So very happy about that :)

The soup kitchen cupboards took FOUR HOURS to sort out. There was a thousand pairs of socks (now sorted into mens, womens and thermal) the soup is in date order, there are nearly 400 tins of tuna (!) so there will be tuna sandwiches for the foreseeable future, the hi-vis jackets are now sorted by size (that'll last five minutes) and the enormous stock of blankets have been folded and stacked neatly so they take up less space (they were just screwed up in bin liners and crammed onto shelves before, takes up masses more space).

Hope everybody is ok.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
