Artynoon.

Parkrun this morning after getting home at 8:15 from a 13 - hour night shift. Fastest time this year :-o
Then I ran home, had a fight with the boiler, beat the bloody contraption into submission, eventually had a bath, and a couple of hour's sleep and now need to go and scrape chicken poo off the back step and path.

Well done Linds and Sweetie, Fleecy and DS2, LG and anyone else running today run

*sends Lemon a doughnut to sit on*

Lol at the boys who don't want to go to effing Paris (autocorrect suggested egging), - a First World problem, no doubt. Well done to whoever it was (TeeBee?) went there solely to do a parkrun. Encourages me to take the trouble to travel a bit for parkruns, given that there are none on my doorstep.

When I can run again, that is.

Youngest Son broke 19 mins at a parkrun this morning and is very pleased with himself.

Afternoon.

Lemon am sure you're work will be fine with that. Am sure they'd much rather do that than you be off sick.

I managed a whole 13 miles of running this month. Better than last months 0. But smashed my cycling total. 143 miles cycled!!

Fastish hilly walk in the rain. Ankle seems content.

Evening!

I didn't see the Dr K parkrun details until it was too late :-(

Anyway I had a good run and my splits were very even - I think because Exeter is quite a flat course you can get into a good breathing/running rhythm.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
