You and me both LG!

I just recreated the dish I had for my birthday meal out in a veggie restaurant, aubergine and mozzarella bake. Yum!

I just withdrew from a LDWA event planned for tomorrow, I just emailed them to let them know we wouldn't be going, I can't run or walk it with my moon pain and I can't even face sitting / standing around spectating while Mr L does it either. They have very kindly refunded our entry fee, which is amazing, I wasn't expecting that, so thumbs up for LDWA Suffolk. I will definitely hope to do another of their events next year.

Xfit this morning and an unexpected swim this afternoon. Just 1k but of that 2 x 400ms at 7.15 and 7.05 respectively. That's 30sec faster than I was swimming in July but still 20secs off my adult pb. Definitely heading in the right direction though!

and that takes me to my biggest monthly swim total of 20.9km, at least since I was a frisky teen, whacking out 800m "warm-ups". Thems woz the days.

It's nice to be able to brag about something sports related! (Hint: it is never going to be Xfit! I am still on the 6k kettle bells.)

[lol, Columba, close enough. Tri-baby wanted to go with his brother but he is only 9 so needs an adult with him. He's an excellent swimmer so I left him with his brother and noone drowned while I put in some laps.]

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
