RA - I don't see any dilemma
If you really want to do the race and you are fit and won't injure yourself further then you have the opportunity to do it. I'd say just think about whether or not it's a PB attempt or a run for fun-type affair.
If you're not up for it and/or you are nervous of your injury niggles then don't do it.

Morning RA - what everyone else has said - if there's a risk of injury, don't; but otherwise go and have fun! to RRR, LG, the Fleece, and anyone else amazing to hit that milage in a year when your running isn't going so well - and (()) about the races you've had to bin, but it's impossible to know when we enter events how the year is going to pan out.
