Thanks all. Quite fancy acupuncture. Was sensible so hard 6 mile run changed to a walk with very gentle jog in the middle when everything had warmed up. Very drizzly but mild.

@Lord Wotsit - set your annual mileage target to 700 miles (on the Train page, scroll down a bit and you'll see where to do it) and then log some running mileage. It can take up to an hour for your mileage to appear on the list linked to >>>>> over there but it will, and if you click on your own Train page running target, there's a graph showing how well you're doing.

*shuffles feet*
As AR has noted on my training log, I have indeed been out for a really *really* slow little jog. It was ok, I survived, and I feel a lot chirpier for a bit of fresh air and mild exercise. I've been to see my mum, and will drop in again this afternoon, but for the rest of day I'm sofa-loafing

8 miles done this morning, was going to be 10 but I realised I did 6 last week and basically not a whole lot for a few weeks before that. 8 felt good, easy, comfortable and lovely! :-).
Get well soon those in sick bay, and don't rush out for a run before you are really ready. One more day in the warm will do you good.
And after all the hubbub I created about Beachy I have decided instead on my plan B which is Kent the week before Beachy - Betteshanger marathon on the Saturday and I've entered the 6 hour cakeathon challenge the day after. I doubt I can do a back to back marathons but will just do as many laps as I can Sunday and eat cake It's the sensible option for me this year and I am now very excited about having five events booked for the year! And I might still get to meet some Fetchies there!

'Doing as much as you can and eat cake' sounds like an eminently sensible plan Lemon!

6 Hr Cakeathon challenge - now that sounds like my type of race! Though given my weight hit a year long PW yesterday, I need to stop thinking about cake and think more about lettuce. Need to shift half a stone before the Grizzly of I'll never get up any hills.
13 hilly off-road miles this morning should help. 8 of them with the club going up and down hills i'd never have done if I 'd be on my own. Love the Sunday morning club runs. XC next weekend and then a run home.
More shelves this afternoon

Another 3 miles to keep me on target. I love how, now we've had a weekend, all the usual suspects have clocked up silly mileages already

I *have* to do the Cakeathon. I really really want to. But which one? There are more than one.....
I did 6 miles and am proud of myself. It was just right. My left leg is niggly, please someone remind me to stretch and roller later. First I have to go and buy school shoes *shudders*
